Job Description


In your role as Software Engineer you’ll be providing technical knowledge and expertise on an exciting greenfield project to deliver our audacious digital audio strategy.

You’ll play a central role in defining the application architecture and building a strong foundation to build upon as we deliver the product roadmap and key project milestones.

Working in a small autonomous Agile squad, you’ll be crafting world-class high performance mobile applications while actively providing coaching and guidance to lift the capability of both the engineering team and their standards and practices.

Our technology stack is predominantly web-based, particularly using ReactJS/React Native. You will be open to learning and using React Native and deep dive into other areas including Swift and Kotlin.

Qualifications


Must Have:

  • Strong commercial experience working with ReactJS

  • Advanced knowledge of Javascript (ES6) or TypeScript

  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and libraries such as React Testing Library, Jest & Mocha

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • A self-starting, inquisitive nature

  • A continuous improvement mindset

  • A strong focus on quality

  • Excellent problem solving skills

Bonus points:

  • Previous experience building high quality mobile applications using React Native

  • Experience in native iOS and Android development using Swift or Kotlin

  • Experience building and deploying solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms

  • Experience building APIs using microservice architecture
